How long does a project take from start to finish?
Project timelines have two components: product lead time and on-site installation time. We want to be upfront about both so there are no surprises.
Product Lead Time
Once your order is placed, some windows and doors are available in approximately one week. Custom or specialty products, including certain window sizes, door styles, and specialty glass, can take up to 8 weeks to arrive from the manufacturer.
We will give you a clear lead time estimate for your specific product selection during your in-home consultation.
On-Site Installation Time
Once your products arrive, our crew completes installation efficiently and professionally. Typical on-site installation times are:
- Standard window replacement: 1–2 days
- Whole-home window replacement: 3–5 days
- Larger door projects (multiple exterior doors or large multi-slide installs): 3–5 days
- Full Hardie siding installation: 2–3 weeks
- Custom deck builds: 2–3 weeks
- Glass shower enclosure installation: typically 1 day
Overall project time from your initial measurement to final completion can vary significantly depending on the products you select. We will walk you through a realistic timeline during your estimate so you can plan accordingly.
Does RSW offer same-day estimates?

Does RSW repair broken home glass?
Yes. In addition to full window replacement, RSW handles home glass repair including broken window panes, fogged or moisture-damaged glass units, and cracked glass door panels.

What is the difference between a framed and frameless shower enclosure?
Framed shower enclosures have metal tracks and edging around the glass panels, providing a traditional look at a lower cost point. Frameless shower enclosures use thicker tempered glass with minimal metal hardware, creating a sleek, modern appearance that is also easier to clean.

Is financing available?
Yes. RSW offers financing through Hearth for qualified customers. We offer a 20-month same-as-cash option as well as fixed-rate plans depending on the financing term and your qualification.

Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes. RSW works with commercial property owners and managers across a range of property types including office buildings, retail storefronts, multi-family residential and apartment communities, HOAs and community properties, churches, and hotels. Most of our commercial work comes through property management companies and involves service, repair, and replacement work on existing buildings.
We do not take on new commercial construction projects.
